This is my 96 Olds Ciera SL. It was not my first choice of a car, but after some time time, it has grown on me. I bought the car with 58,000 miles on it in 2004 and now has 102,000 miles on it. The pictures shown are when I first repainted the car. My father was a big help to me in everything that I have done to the car, including repairs, paint, and maintenance.

I was involved with a bad accident and did all the repair work myself; bumper, front fiberglass mount, hood, headlight assembly, hood latch, bumber cover, turning signal lights, and bondo work. I then repainted the car myself with auto spray paint and then put 4 layers of clear coat over the top. The clear coat, after two years, has worn away and what is left is a very dull version of what you see.

I just put new tires on the car; Yokohama Aegis AS4 series. They are outastanding and reall allow the "Blue bomber" to drive to its limits. My favorite part of the car is the 3.1 engine that still sfter 100,000 miles runs strong and hearty with no engine problems at all. The only thing that has been done is routine maintance along with some cosmetic touch ups and interior work on the window motors, which I have replaced and they stopped working again.
