So this is my 1987 Caprice coupe. i bought the car in 2004 and have been working on it since. its needed quite a bit of work, and to this day still needs more. SHE IS NOT FOR SALE SO DONT ASK UNLESS YOU WANNA FORK OVER 20 GRAND! i know shes not worth that much right now. but its my first car, my project car, and my first collectors piece.
She is a rare 1987 Coupe Landau, one of the 300 that came with a .350 smallblock from the factory. Ive discovered that im only the 3rd owner of the car. I will NOT be putting on any big fancy spinning rims or giant chrome rims that make it sit 23 feet off the ground. this looks and drives like a muscle car, and will be treated as such.
some basic info for ya... got 15x7 Chevy Ralley rims on the front, and 15x8's. tires are just cheap futura's since the cars in no condition to be a show car at the moment. cant drive on rims alone. im keeping the rims because of the way the car is going to be done. replaced the original grille with a billet grill but soon im gonna have to replace the frame of it.
Future plans - gloss black paint, deck stripes (blood red, dark silver, or midnight blue), im going to rechrome everything. im going pick up a steel hood from a 70 Chevelle and use the cowl on there to place on my hood because i think it has much more subtle angles. engine will have to be replaced, probably with a GM-Performance 383 stroker. im going to install a true-dual exhaust, high flow cat's, and Flowmaster 50 series. its gonna sound pretty mean. sound system.... nothing fancy. im not going crazy. ill put in some 10 inch subs in the back but i want this car to maintain most of its stock look. I will be making this car into what i think the Caprice SS from 87 would look like. for one im getting rid of the column shifter and putting in a center console from an 80's Camaro. Thats the story.

Delivery day.

She didnt start out very pretty...
