oldsmobob's 1933 International Scout

This was my 33 International Pickup truck. It was given to me for doing body work and painting a vehicle that a friend was giving to his soon to be ex-wife in a divorce settlement.

This is pretty much what it looked like when i got it. It was bolted together but i took it off frame and painted the frame and started on the body work.

And it needed quite a bit of body work. I did a lot of paintjobs for my mechanic friends and in exchange they were to help me with mechanical work.

The good part is it had a 57 Olds J-2 engine...371 cubes, 312 hp with tripower and had the 57 4 speed automatic trans and rear from an Olds. I had the engine rebuilt, got finned aluminum valve covers... Well, the friends never showed up to help me and I bailed out and sold it.

The guy that bought it yanked out the olds drivetrain and installed an early chrysler hemi. I would up painting it for him after he finished all the mechanics..and this was the finished product.
