Update: 8-23-03: Sadly, I no longer have this car. I've just donated my venerable 323 to a worthy charity. Talk about pain...it's like losing a member of my family, after owning her for over 15 years!

But, even though the car is gone, the stereo system is be available for sale, all or part. Email me at orcrush at mac dot com if you are interested.

I bought this car, brand-spankin' new in 1988. Here is a picture of it the day I bought it! (Yes that's me in the picture...I was only 20!)

It only had 7 miles on the odometer!
Now it's a tired but happy 15 year old, and is about to hit 250,000 Miles...that's a Quarter of a Million miles!
Here's proof, the odometer at 249704 miles:

And now IT'S OFFICIAL!I rolled over to 250,000 miles! Here's the proof:

I pulled performance numbers out of educated guesses, will run current numbers and repost.

The sound system is OLD so the components aren't listed in the brands on here...so here it is. It's basically a 'frankenstein monster' of mixed components I've collected over the years.
Head unit: Sanyo CD in-dash
Amplifiers:
-1 - JetSound 120, for mids and tweets
-1 - MEI 200, for woofers
Signal Processors:
-1 - MEI Active Crossover
Tweeters:
-No - Name, capped in-dash speakers
Midrange:
-2 - 5 1/4 Technics 2-way, in doors
-2 - Eclipse 6x9 3-ways in rear deck
Bass:
-2 Nightstalker 10" in a custom built box designed to fit perfectly in the 323's hatch with room for storage too!

Last SPL reading was years ago, cranked over 100 then, not sure what it is now since things are getting a bit tired...and so are my ears...

Go on to my next page for pix!

Dude I bought my 323 back!!! I sold it to a friends dad (whos a mechanic) and he threw in a tranny and detailed the whole car and I bought it back for only $500. These cars are freakin beasts. Check out my site, my pix that are up are old, they are when my brother got in an accident with it. The car is back to its original look. And my family has had this car since it was new and 16 years later it is still in the family with 270K something miles. Peace bro.

These cars are awesome. I had a really nice 1988 red 323 that had 270,000 miles on it and it still ran like new. I sadly sold it last week because the transmission went out on the car. These are great cars and now have a 93 Nissan Altima but I still miss my old Mazda.

It's actually pretty simple man. I just went into a shop near my house and picked up a taillight tint. I'm sure the window stuff would do the same. It comes as a spray and you paint it on man. Just make sure it doesn't or go on even cuz you'll be able to see it.
