My cousin ordered this camero new in mid 69, but right after he got it he got a job with the state and they gave him a car. so I bought this car in 72 with only 2400 miles on her.

It was a 69 R/S, 350 2bbl, heavy duty 3 speed, quick ratio steering, , disc brakes, handling package and dual exhaust. Tje car had come with the standard hood, but later i added the super scoop hood.

The car had come with hubcaps but his wife bought him chrome magnum 500's which looked like the S/S wheel but nicer.

The car was Fathom Green with the medium green custom comfort weave interior. It had the wood sport wheel, console guages, a/c, am/fm/stereo radio, blower type rear window difogger, custom seatbelts, and with the R/S package had the woodgrain and grab bar on the dash.

The white hockey stick stripe and white halo vinyl top really set it off.

I opted not to put the rear spoiler on it just to be different.

Now the sob story....I got married the next year and my wife couldn't drive a stick, so I sold it. This was probably the nicest car I've ever owned. It even had a very rare option called the fiber optic light monitoring system....from inside the car you could tell if every light on the outside the car was working..had a chrome pod on top of front fenders that had the fiber optic lines going to it and one on the inside of roof at rear that you could see in your rear view mirror.
