This was my first car in high school. I was going to buy this car from my best friend but 2 weeks prior to the purchase, he had an accident and wiped out the front end.
A neighbor hood kid was parting our his 56 210 and i bought the whole front clip. We carted it back to my house with the radiator support sitting in a little red wagon and two more people lifting the nose by the wheel wells.
so we installed the front clip in one shot. A trans shop told me the transmission wouldn't last 6 weeks. Two years later still hadn't given out...car was originally crocus yellow and onyx black...matching interior..wish i had that one today restored correctly....
when i got my orders for vietnam, I left the car with my fiance's father to sell and never saw it again.
