We're in FSP because of the $30 worth of spring supports from AutoZone and a cold air kit that consists of a piece of aluminum hose and a $2.50 funnel from a hardware store. The springs are so shot I can get one of the front wheels off of the ground on the level under hard acceleration, generating tire smoke, so it's the Smokeshow. I took the FSP championship this year for my local club, mostly because none of the really fast cars showed up.
In the off season, we installed a set of Flea Bay coilovers, so the smoke may be a thing of the past. Tires are next because the Falkens are GONE!
We added a set of Kuhmo's street tire (treadwear 140) and a generic rear can exhaust. The exhaust was too loud, so I crammed some steel wool pads down the pipe to quiet it down. At the first event, it was louder than stock, but still o.k. It now goes around corners and doesn't smoke the tires unless you pull hole shots at the line.
