need to clean the motor area still blah....

Under its own power and AIR!!!
LAYED OUT!

I Painted the frame *Van Sickle* Gloss black...

Primer

I have never painted using a gun, this was my first time...
I Also re Enforced the frame Notch some more...
It may be overkill but I wanted it to be strong...

Wow Talk about some Major progress
This month is gonna go QUICK and so should the work
I am gettin done on the truck..
I finally think I am done with the back half fab work...
I just finished up the shock mounts today..
These were made using left over pieces from the bag bar kit I didnt end up needing..
SEPTEMBER 2009
Ahhh Just finished up MOST of the fabrication in the new back half..
Now its time to enjoy the fruits of my labor...
A little Vid of my rear setup working up and down..
Drop and Destroy
Trying Out the wishbone and hittin some side to side...
Aired UP...
Added Some gussets to the 2 link axle tabs
I Just Finished Tacking all the Bag Moutns in place..
Aired OUT!
Aired UP!!
And I started On my Mount for my Upper shocks...
I Started this month with cleaning the crap out of my shop..
Just to make it easy'er to work in..
And it helped..
I added some gussets to the Notch just to be safe...
Then I worked on mounting my Air tanks...
I am going for somthing that looks difficult to build, but
easy for service and pluming the air line..
It is about half done and you really wont understand untill the tanks are in place..
I have the New Axle all stripped and ready to set in its new hangers...
Setting the wheelbase and getting it strait...
thats a new jack to handle the BIG stuff, Next to it is my OLD one..
Way too small..
And I picked up a FREEBIE!
Some guy was going to thow out this back seat when we put a system in his truck...
I told him I could handle it for him...
I finally Got to Mounting all the tabs and setting the rear end pinion and location...

AUGUST 2009
Just Finished up the bridge and ended up with 10 pieces of 2'' square stock total...
I dont think it turned out bad..
JULY 2009
Well I started the Month on vacation for a week..
Then the radiator blew in my Honda Accord On the
way back from Vacation..
It became the Piority for the spare time I had..
But In a Last Ditch effort I spent the last 2 days
of July Banging out a NEW Bridge For my Notch.
I Think It turned out nice...
I want it to "FLOW" from the Link bars to the Bridge
and be easy to see the workmanship..
That was The LOWER piece where the bag brakets will mount
the 2nd Day I added the top piece...
I also Filled the gap and added some strength to it all...
Crazy angles, It was allot of MATH, So much my head hurt..
It also could have been fumes...
I also Found Out the Rear end IS Toast... So I need a new one...
And Some MORE stuff came in...
My NEW DC9000 !
Should be Enough to keep the air flowing...
JUNE 2009
So pretty much all I've got done is taking out the rear end and started
cleanign it up... cutting the brackets off was hard and may end up being a waste of time
I think the rear end is tweeked!
Possibly from welding on it..
Ohh well not too much of a setback...
Its a TUESDAY and I get to work on my truck all night...!!!
So I Went ahead and TORE into fixing the Frame problems at the end of it after the notches..
The Frame was Actually Welded Cooked and it tapers inward a FULL 2 Inches
comming from the notch to the end of the frame.....
You can Kinda See It in the picture if you look at the drivers side frame rail
BEFORE!
AFTER!
Square As a BOOKWORM!
This Was NOT easy work to...LOTS of GRINDING and CUTTIN!
I almost GAVE up when i couldnt get the bar in place because it was
2' larger than the end of the frame rails ...
After a hour of FAIL !
I walked away, ate A ice cream sammich and Figured it out...
Then Thew it in, and did it in less than 20 seconds...
I also Took off the junk stuff and started Fitting the 2 link...
So I got another FREEBIE....!
Its NOT a Banana!
ITS a 2006 HOOD without HAIL damage!!!
WOOOT!
Jerry Is the COOLEST Dude I know...
I like the Mix of the 04 Grill And 06 Hood...
I will halfto fix a small gap though at the top of the grill...
easy breazy fix though...
MAY 2009
I started into fabbing up the rear end after I Installed my
220 Outlet for my Welder..
Something About Welding maks you feal like a badass.!
Ne Way He is some Of my Work
Dont be critical Unless its unsafe looking
I just started welding 2 days after I bought the welder.
Part of my Tank/Something mount havent decided really..
Also suports the Foward frame tie for my wishbone
and the Front Xmember brace.
FIRST attempt I made a Mistake...
I forgot to plan on taking out the bolt...
DOH!
DO OVER!
to this...I like it better Function over form..
And Finnally A WISHBONE IS BORN...
This one is just for Moch up only..
I found some steel in the alley by my house so i just praticed with it...
So Twards the end of may now and I bought a few
things that will help my project go a little faster..
This is something EVERY man should have!
Brand NEW!
I also snapped some pictures of the tank and the clearance

And a $20 On my 22's

So This is the biggest Progress so FAR!
IT LIVES....
After a 5 Year Coma...
No check Engine Lights,
Ac Works,
And It MOVES with ITS own Power...
What Up Talon....

I think I will Turn this Into a Trailer / BBQ pit...
Ohh And I also Have The Tank Mounted and Don.... Well Sorta Done I forgot the Heat shield.

April 2009
Flooding and lots of water in my gargage....
Ewwww what a mess...
Thats a c63 Benz floating there....
that cop told me "DO NOT CROSS" lol yea ok ....
BUT! I did luck out on a better bed for my truck...
It has a few stress cracks from the big rims rubbing
but much better than my whacked piece...
Not bad for $100 bucks, and it has a roll pan already molded..
March 2009
Took off the bed to expose the REAL truth about the frame and its setup..
Ohh man what it hides is bad...
The frame is NOT strait after the Notch ....
Well one side is... the other tapers in about 2' in to the inside...
Bla...Thats got to be fixed... whatever changed forget fixing it....
Wait till you see whats next...
Frame Nastyness...Right there...
Just Clutter...No funtion.
So what do you do with Clutter you clean it up...
WITH FIRE!!

Now that some of the junk is out the way....
Lets get to organizing what works and what dont...
there is NO gas tank mount ..
Do you need a gas tank?
Uhh YEA..
Something like this...Strong and simple..
Yea that will work nice and tight to get to though...
1st Official weld on my truck...Get it Cory
POW! Liek Cobyoshi
I spent some time to get that so tight to the frame..
2nd step is to mount the tank cross tie..
3rd step... Tie that to the Cross bar..
Cory said "PA POW"
Cory and the Shocker..
Me and the Under the frame shocker...
thats my weld, remember I just started that day..
Minor setbacks.... Hail damage....
ohh and now some teaser shots of whats next...
Wishbone anyone?
Ohh yea and I bought my 22's a set of 7 wheels 4 tires..
