I got this car from my grandfather for free. I named the car Walter because my pap used to own it. Its going to need some major work such as the transmission. This car only had 116K and its a 2 owner car. My pap bought the car back in 1998 from Fairway Chevy in Hazleton Pa with only 21K. This car was driven mostly by my granny who did wreck it in an alley way for not stopping at a stop sign. The car has dents on every part of the body since my granny used the car as a bumper car. She really didn't care that much. My granny can no longer drive it so my pappy drove it for a while.

What needs repaired:
transmission needs rebuilt $1600-$1875. (no way) though I did find one for $400 with 80,000 miles.
Oil change $30 com(done)
needs new struts all the way around $202 + Labor
power rear window does not work
right rear passenger lock does not lock
it does have a used radiator that may need to be replaced in the near future $100
spark plugs wires $20
Spark Plugs $15 (2.50 each)
CV joints need to be greased
I changed my mind on the upgrades after I got the bad news from the transmission shop. He said that performing a transmission flush will not make a bit of difference. But he did recommend trying a quart of Lucas transmission oil instead. So hopefully this will pay off for a while.
Modifications:
Cup holders: I needed this so I could put my traveling coffee mug in it. $7
Haynes Serivce Manual $17- so I learn how to work on the car.
Christian Fish, On its way. $5
Tissue box. Free. It has to look like an old farts car.
Updated: I finally got the heater and Ac fixed. I paid $125 which inlcude a used AC Heater control+ labor. Also I was successful at getting the right rear window to operate. The window has not been used in a while and with a little pounding on the door panel and lubricating the window components, it works fine now.
Ugly dog dish wheels.
paps body work.
I found the orginal build sheet. It was tucked up underneath the passenger seat. I think the value of the car went up $15.
10-31-08 My car was was invovled in an accident. I ended up getting rear ended by a saturn 01 sl2 by some 17 year old kid. He hit the taurus at about 35mph. I was already at a dead stop in front of me. I'm sore but I'll be okay. After that hit surpisingly the transmission shifted a little bit better then.

The boy's insurance company has determined that the car will be going through an Auto Salvage Auction in Ellwood City PA called Copart. I've driven by this place several times.
So somebody please give this car a new home. The car is cleaned up and ready to go. As I mentioned above in the beginning of the text as far as what is exactly wrong with the car. I did not get an estimate to get the car fixed. My own personal estimate would be about $1,000. This would make a great parts car too instead if someone wanted it for that. The car just had an oil change the day before the accident $30 with purolater pure one oil filter. I just bought a set of spark plugs and wires also the day before the accident $50. If I had my way, I would take the car up to Dave's Farm in London Ontario and have him play around with it.

I stopped in at Co-Part salvage auto auction in Ellwood City PA to see if the car is still there. I found out sometime in 1/2009 Feezles Junkard in Enon Valley PA bought the car. I called Feezles. They think that the car was crushed to little pieces since it was a 1994. It may still be in the junkyard. I'll have to look next time I go to feezles.
