74sundance's 1974 Plymouth Satellite

Starting to pull the 440 all apart. It came out of a 1968 Plymouth Fury I bought off of a farmer who had it sitting in the woods for 18 years.

This is a pic of the 440 stroker I built at school. This is just after I did all the clearancing(grinding)and clean up inside to make the crank and rods fit.I even cleaned off all the slag and rough spots inside with a die grinder.

I had to remove alot of material on both heads to allow  the new push rods to clear because they are made thicker to hold up to the high hp and torq.

Mocking up the new roller rocker set up before final assembly and paint.

This is a torker 2 intake ,Holley 750 dual feed vac secondarys ,Russell braided fuell lines/filter with a Holley fuel pressure gauge, k&N air filter with a lower drop pan and K&N top and a custom cnc made Mopar nut.

In the pic I have a set of Moper Performance valve covers on the 440 but I decided on a set of  Pro Comp's valve covers instead. Sorry I already sold the MP valve covers..I'll post pics' later.

This is a pic of the 440 stroker after I finished it.I used black paint to be differnt and because I thought it would make the aluminum/chrome stand out.If you look close you can see I used ARP's stainless bolt kit.

The heater box was easy to yank out, it only has about 5 nuts to hold it in and 1 vaccume harness.Thank's for the 5 Stars :)
