Daddy got a new pair of shoes.
New BFG'S
Hi, I have a 1974 Satellite Sundance (Yellow) I also posted pic's of a (gold/bronz) Sundance to show what mine looked like back in the day when it was new.
I bought my Sundance from Indiana this year (2008) I found out that it was from Arizona.Only the outer body has rust the under side, floors, engine bay and trunk are all rust free.
The car was gold but someone painted it yellow afew years back,I'm painting it either 2008 Dodge Viper : snake skin green or a two tone black and silver with a white stripe down the length of the body.
I went to Brantford Chrysler on the long weekend while they were closed and took a few before pic's for fun,I have one of them set as my desktop on my computer.
I bought the car to build it the way I want it. I have stripped out the interior and replaced everything with new parts (Black) Ok now, calm down lol I KEPT EVERYTHING. I might want to put the car back to original one day, just not this day.I have a big block 440 that I built into a 500 + cui stroker when I went to college for engine building and thats what will go in the car.I also bought 18" wheels for the car.I have a bunch of other stuff for this car and I'll post pic's when I can. Thanks for looking.
This pic is from when I first bought the rims.I now have BF Goodrich rubber on these 18's
The motor is a 1969 318 with an intake,headders,600cfm carb and mopar performance valve covers 8mm Taylor wires and aHolley air cleaner.
This is one of the two build sheets I found in the car.( Driver side rear seat) the other was under the (passenger side front bench seat)
This is the old Sundance interior.
The new seats and carpet set in for mock up before the new paint.
The floors still have the original paint.
I had to install my new Grant wheel to see how it looked while I was ripping every thing else out..lol..oh the floors are mint.. no rust at all.
I took the whole dash and gauge cluster apart and redid everything,I even replaced the old wire harness and changed it from the Satellite gauge cluster to the 150mph ralley cluster
.
Before and after pic's....I decided to change the old headlights to the new halogen style I also sandblasted all the parts and bought new hardware.I had to do some modifying to make this work but I think it was worth all the hr/s I put in.

Yeah the wheels should look good.I'm waiting for some custom center caps to be made..The wheels are off of a 2007 Charger and the bearing nut/spindle sticks out to far on the front for the stock center caps to work.I'll post some pic's as soon as I can.
