project88stang's 1987 Ford Mustang

This is my 1987 Ford Mustang. It origionally has a 2.3 liter four cylinder. I'm swapping it for a v8 and I'm going to paint the car black. I will keep this page updated as much as possible.

This is what I had to start with.

There was a lot of body work involved. I stripped the car all the way down, interior included and started from scratch. These next few photos are of the body progress.

I decided to paint the car black and I added th bumper covers and sideskirts from a Mustang GT. I used front bumper cover extensions from a Cobra and a 2.5" lifted Cobra R hood. The engine compartment and door jams are gloss black as well. I hate it when you can tell that a car has been painted because the engine compartment and door jams are different colors.

A few interior shots. It was origionally blue.

I also did a 5 lug conversion and disc brakes. The car on the left is my donor car.

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!

hell yes brother! Way to make something special out of the mistreated 2.3! Those bullitt wheels really look sweet on the fox, don't they? It would be really neat to find a 2.3 turbo that is mint though - I've only seen one 2.3 in my day and it wasn't exactly mint... Keep it up because you've got a great vision.
