FIRST OFF....BIG THANKS to my buddy Cliff for all of his help with this project!

Now, a quick background: My first car at 17 yrs of age (1994) was a 1986 CRX Si (Rio Red). I've been a Honda guy ever since. After building / racing a 300hp 96 Civic EX Coupe from 1996 to 2000, I've been out of modifying Honda's for a while. My current main vehicle is a 2008 Acura RDX Turbo/AWD CUV; just HAD to buy Honda's first U.S. turbo vehicle! I've owned about 8 CRX's over the yrs, most of which performed duty as a beater vehicle (40MPG). This one I've got different plans for...
After searching for a long time for a nice, clean, Rio Red 2nd gen CRX Si, I finally found one... and I purchased this 1988 Honda CRX Si in August 2008 with a blown motor. The following week I sourced a JDM B16A 1.6L DOHC VTEC engine out of a 1990 Honda Integra XSi (japanese spec) imported from Japan. I also decided to upgrade just about every aspect of the vehicle with plans to build a high performance daily driver that gets good gas mileage, retains near-stock reliability & keeps miles off my leased 2008 Acura RDX. I also plan take the CRX to the track on the weekends for a little fun.

ONGOING INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS (continual updates):
TODAY'S PROJECT (April 26, 2009):
Hatch area Gutted and Cleaned, preparing for installation of JDM Leather REAR SEATS...
Aaaaaaaand...DONE:
MAY 20, 2009.
Finally got around to trimming my USDM rear deck lid to fit w/ the JDM Rear Seat that I installed last week, so now it's 100% complete, just gotta fill the stupid holes the previous owner drilled with speakers, I guess to make it look a little better:
PROJECT (6/14/2009):
Picked up a set of OEM Honda 14" HX Alloys w/ fresh tires.
Great street / race wheels at only 11 lbs each! Don't look too bad either.
PROJECT O' THE DAY (June 27th, 2009):
Replaced my A1 (LS) non-LSD (long gear) Transmission with a JDM Y1 factory LSD (short gear) Transmission & Exedy Stage 2 Clutch w/ 9.5LB Flywheel. Took 14 hrs but I can't complain too much cuz I got a great deal on the trans!
NEW SHOES!!
JDM MUGEN MR-5 WHEELS w/ JDM Bridgestone Sneaker Tires
TODAY'S PROJECT: Sept 12, 2009:
Installed the original Mugen MR-5 lug caps (got all 16 for $100 used, great deal)...
Couldnt find MR-5 center caps anywhere so ordered the Mugen GP caps from a 2008 Mugen Si...
AND THEY FIT!
Oct. 10, 2009 - Modified some VW Fender Flares to fit my CRX.
Now I need some 1" Wheel Spacers to bring my Mugens out FLUSH!
So much for a simple swap and leaving it alone!
