Tjin Edition / Mobil 1 G8 CST Debuts at SEMA

The Tjin Edition / Mobil 1 Pontiac G8 CST debuted in the GM booth today at the SEMA show.

Here are a few pics of the car in the booth. Check out the prime edge parking spot.

Fully polished One Lug Wheels and GlowShift gauges.

We decided to mix things up a bit today and swap out the black G8 GT Altezza looking tailights, with the cleaner more traditional all red G8 taillights.

Here is what the rear of our G8 GT looks like with the new all red taillights.

Since the Tjin Edition Pontiac G8 CST will be debuting in the GM booth at SEMA, GM requested that we come up with a wheel stand sign board to place next to the car in the booth. Here is a sample of what we came up with.

The custom audio set-up in the G8 CST is just about complete. Here are two teaser shots of the custom sub box and amp rack featuring Focal Audio products. The custom install was done by Adam Carpenter from Unique Fabrication.

Here are some shots of the custom gauge cluster featuring 3 GlowShift gauges and the Visteon Navigation head-unit which was custom mounted in the glove box.

Our G8 CST will be decked out with Focal Audio subs, amps and component speakers. We also installed a Visteon Navigation head-unit, which was customized into the glove box.

The Tjin Edition G8 CST lowered on Eibach springs and custom rear control arms.

Unique Fabrication was responsible for fabricating the metal spoiler.

The Tjin Edition G8 CST will be rocking front and rear Corvette Z06 big brake calipers and rotors.

Fully polished 20x9.5" and 20x10.5" One Lug Wheels.

Two-tone red and black leather interior with a custom diamond stitched design.

Custom gauge cluster which will house a set of GlowShift gauges.

The 7-Spoke One Lug Wheels with the Z06 caliper behind it.

The side's, front and rear of the G8 CST have been outfited with cool striping.

The Tjin Edition Pontiac G8 GT will be known as the G8 CST (In honor of Neil and Mei’s first baby boy Collin Samuel Tjin) and will be debuting at the 2008 SEMA show in the General Motors booth. With less than 10 weeks to get this project completed, the guys wasted no time in tearing the G8 CST apart.

Some of the highlights that will be incorporated into this project include a complete custom paint job, pin stripping, metal rear wing, custom mesh grilles, custom 20x9.5"and 20x10.5" 6 and 7-spoke One Lug Wheels matched up to 245/35/20 & 285/30/20 Dunlop tires, Corvette Z06 big brakes, raised shock towers and Eibach springs, Webasto twin-vent sunroof, fully rewrapped interior, GlowShift gauges, Focal audio, Ignited Performance headlight and fog light HID’s, Vortech supercharger, American Racing headers and x-pipe, custom exhaust and intake manifold, and much more.
