Building this car has been a long but worthwhile process. I bought it almost 5 years ago when I was 16, I'm now near 21 and it's starting to come together. 99% of the work on the car was done by me or some car buddies. The only thing I paid anybody to do was the engine machining, and the paint itself.
What I started with...
As you can see there significant rust in the rear quarters, as well as ratty paint. The fiberglass nose cover is also cracked.
Then came the patch panels, and nose cover off a '79.
The primer phase. I was tired of it being 4 colors, so my buddy and I bought some cheap primer and sprayed it in my driveway.
It stay this way for quite awhile.
And finally Paint!

New Wheels, waiting to hit the road
As the car sits today, still some minor things to get it roadworthy.

And a new fiberglass L88 hood. Still needs paint though.
