JDubb360's 1983 Jeep WagoneerThis is the shot that got my attention while I was deployed to Africa, I bought it from just this one picture. As you can see here it sagged some with the original springs.

JDubb360's 1983 Jeep Wagoneer This thing is just in great shape for a daily driver with 104K on the odo. What you don't see here is the new Sony deck, the 4 new 6.5 speakers, or the 2 12 inch MTX subs with the 950 watt amp. I added the stereo and speakers on leave, but took them back out so it wouldn't be a break-in waiting to happen while my dad takes care of the Jeep.

JDubb360's 1983 Jeep Wagoneer A little ride to the coastal redwoods in California, got a lot of compliments on the Jeep there! Somebody yelled out "nice wagon" as we cruised by next to a camp ground.

JDubb360's 1983 Jeep WagoneerHere you can see the 6" lift springs, extended quick release sway bar links, RS9000X shocks, extended brake lines, and steering stablizer all from BJ's offroad.

JDubb360's 1983 Jeep WagoneerJust lifted 8", because of the springs being stiff, an I'm sure the 24 year old springs were sagging a little too.

JDubb360's 1983 Jeep WagoneerThe drop pitman arm, the quick connect/discoectway bar liks, and the new 6" lift springs. Oh and one end of the new steering Stabilizer.

JDubb360's 1983 Jeep WagoneerThe other side with the rest of the stabilizer too.

Hey, I installed he exact same 6" / RS9000 kit from BJ's in my 83 except for the sway likns, since I removed the sway bar. The VAM name means Vehiculos Automotores Mexicanos and it was a mexican goverment owned company that made AMC cars under licence to be sold in Mexico only. The V8 was never offered in the mexican versions, but VAM offered a modified 4.2 L in the Wagoneers which was 4.6 L in displacement.
