The truck: 2003 Ram 1500 QC/SWB 4x4 Laramie
I bought this truck used in the fall of 2007, and it came with a 4" suspension lift from Rancho, 17" MKW wheels on 35" Toyo Open Country A/T's, two MTX 10" subs hooked up to a Tsunami amp, a hard tonneau cover and bedrug, and dual exhaust.
The first thing I did was replace the rusted old exhaust and mufflers. I went with dual Walker Sound FX mufflers and had our muffler shop make custom dual tailpipes with 4" chrome tips.
The picture above also shows the new wheels and tires, 18" black matte KMC Rockstars on 35" BFG A/T KO's.
I then wanted to put a CB in my truck and so took a trip to Walmart and bought a Cobra compact. I used a temporary antenna while I looked around for what I wanted.
Next I decided to sell the hard tonneau cover and bedrug and get a spray-in liner. I also ended up replacing the stock little dinky mirrors with the 7x10 foldable towing mirrors. Let me just say these mirrors ROCK!
Next after I had decided what antenna to get for the CB, it was time to get a box to mount it to. A trip to the local Home Depot was all it took, and I was a proud owner of a new black Husky toolbox. Once we had the box in, we got to work mounting my new dual 4' black firestik antennas.
Soon afterwards, I had surgery on my tailbone so I wasn't able to go anywhere or do anything. The truck was used some, but not much. It also went unwashed for about 4 months. I decided to get the truck debadged so I cleaned the truck up the day before.

Then the next day, it got debadged. The local body shop did it for free!
I have not updated this page in a long while so here's everything I have done since the last update. I have put on smoked RECON tail lights, smoked RECON third brake light, smoked RECON cab clearance lights, custom fabbed clearance lights to the front valance/air dam, had the bumpers and grill painted black to match the truck, taken the side steps off, upgraded to a JVC head unit, put on RECON big rig running lights, put in 6k HID fog lights and 6k HID head lights.
Update 11/2/09
- I replaced my old exhaust with Pacesetter longtube headers, a Pacesetter 3" off-road y-pipe, Magnaflow 3"in/3"out hi-flo cat, and dual Flowmaster 40 series mufflers dumped before the axle.

- I took the Rockstar center caps off to fabricate in some lug spikes.
- Added one amber clearance light to each side of the toolbox and am currently working on spacers to attach 6 1/2" red oval stop/turn/tail LEDs.

- I replaced the map lights with LED bulbs and am working on converting the dome light to be able to use an LED bulb.

- I built a hitch-mounted flagpole to use at car shows and club meets.
