I got the fuel injectors back from the machine shop all rebuilt now. They are installed. Haven't done any leak tests yet. But I plan too very soon. I'll get some updated pictures of the progress soon. I really don't have that much left to do to get this engine running again.
I noticed some of the wiring to the fuel injectors were spliced with one of those tube splicers that crimp down on the wire. Then covered with electrical tape. I need to get myself some electrical tape so I can retape what is coming off. Then I need to add what's left of my lawnmower gas, which is still pretty fresh, to the gas tank so I can do the leak test on the fuel injection system to make sure the o-rings on the injectors and all the banjo fittings are not leaking.
I bought the vacuum lines I need. I also got some red wire covers to help make the ugly wiring more attractive. Another thing I need is the temperature gauge sensor. I THOUGHT I was gonna have to buy a new cylinder head and I was trying to salvage the all the sensors in this head. Well, this sensor I tried to take out disintegrated. So, I gotta replace it now.
