Just so ya know, the "Pill Bug" name came from my brother's friends when I let him drive it to school.
This here is my 1984 Toyota Van. It's powered by a 1998 CC, 2.0 Liter, 4 cylinder, EFIed, 3Y-EC pushrod engine. They run around 90-100 HP.
So what's so special about these vans? Well, for one. They are unique. They are the most oddly designed creatures to ever roam the Earth. First of all. They are forward control. Which means the front wheels are mounted underneath the driver. This allows the driver to see better out the window and turn on a dime.

This is basically what she looks like on the inside. It's pretty nice. Right now, she could use a "fix-up".

I really admire your determination and perseverance. You took an old car and made it run (almost) like new. That takes know how and a lot of time, I must say. I'm on the verge of getting an 89 LE Van for $400 from Portland, and I'll have to take pics and work on it this summer for Car Domain. I think these 80's vans are really cool looking, no wonder they were marketed in Japan as the Space Cruiser. I don't know what I want to theme mine yet, though. Any suggestions?
Come by my page later, when I have it up. It's nice to see a fellow Washingtonian around. :D
