91HATCHGT's 1977 Chevrolet El Camino

THINGS I HAVE DONE

The new 3-series carrier and 3.73 gears from Superior Axle and Gear.

I painted some of the brackets and things a fresh gloss black so that when I put in all the new engine accessories in, the older stuff would have a new shine as well.

This is a pic of the piece that goes over the radiator, and also a dipstick that I sanded down to bare metal, and then painted primer, and black gloss, for the same reason.

Here is a pic of when I sanded down the original air cleaner and painted it to match the exterior. I still must keep this because I live in California, and the emissions laws are strict here to say the least, and I must have all EGR connected when I get it smogged. But for now, all that crap is out of there!
