This is my 1971 Plymouth scamp that I got from the Michigan boonies. Originally a green on green vinyl roof washington car with a 6/ and 904, it will be getting transformed into a daily driven street/strip car. The car is already minitubbed and just got finished at the paint shop. It is sprayed in a snake skin green pearl hue with flat black hood, snorkel scoop and bumblebee stripe. Motive power is coming from a 340 (mildly modified), a world class Borg Warner T5 5 speed, and an 8-3/4 suregrip rearend with 3.91 gears. Stay tuned for more updates!

In Michigan just after i had bought it

What the car currently looked like after some bodywork....blocked with 80 and waiting to be blocked with 180 to be ready for the high build primer

The car was blocked by me with 255, and is now at the bodyshop where they primed and blocked the car one more time- as you can see from the pictures, all of the hardwork paid off since the car is very straight...this was my first time doing bodywork ever, and im proud that its turned out this good so far...she is nearing paint and should be home by the end of April at the very latest...I also took the chance to pull the motor and tranny out of her and prep the engine bay before the shop did anything to her...here are the most recent pictures

Well its definatly been a LONNNG time since i have updated here...the car has come a long way as the next batch of pictures will show...currently getting it ready for winter storage, but i should be driving it in the spring...interior is all in, exterior is almost complete (save for chroming the bumpers), front end all redone with disc brakes, rear end is complete with springs moved in, engine and 5 speed are all in, and the engine is now running! check out the youtube vid! still need to do little things here and there, but the car has come a long way since i first got it...these pictures arent even the newest (ive been lazy with school and all) so the car looks even more complete than what you will see...anyways enjoy!

Awesome! Finally some updates. Its really coming along good! I saw the you tube video...sounds pretty radical! I never got to hear my car with open headers! What kind of exhaust are you going with? You couldnt ask for a meaner looking wheel and tire combo. Great job!
