Thanks for the comments on my orion 1600E, Ive owned car since 1993 and spent the first 3 years restoring it to the condition its in today, it gets a lot of attention when Im out driving in it due to its faultless bodywork and there very very scarce now, even in scrap yards you hardly find a bog standard or a ghia mk 2 or even a mk1 orion for spares. Ive had loads of offers to sell car but they only made 1500 of them and according to DVLC records back in 1998 there were only 250 remaining on the road, but that was back in 1998???so it sits in my garage during the winter months covered up and it only appears in the summer when its nice, dry, and sunny.
