THE FORUM

If you own or enjoy a car like mine (Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, Towncar) and spend what some would call a little too much time on the internet, have I got the place for you.

GRANDMARQ.net (GMN) <-- click it!

This is an online discussion forum where you will find threads containing pictures, video, technical info and a classifieds section focused around 'box' panther Ford products.
Come browse and join to post your own questions and jump in on the action.

There is one 'other' forum, www.crownvic.net - but they are seriously lacking in the 'box' 5.0 area, and is moslty full of those crazy modular 4.6 mobiles.

chrome tips

dirty pics

some "body work"
removed the ugly crusted fake chrome plastic strip - left with goo mess...

CURRENT PROJECTS:

-)crusade for a well running, efficient CFI - this is more of an everlasting project... see page 11
update Im getting better gas mileage now, and the "TPS-tune" almost eliminated the soft-throttle lurching. new vacuum and air/fuel meters inticate that things are somewhat normal.
My next steps are testing the evap canister, purge solenoid, and valve to see if this is the cause of my fuel stink, rich decelleration, and/or rough idle.

-)more junk in the trunk action: time for a new amprack and power-optimization upgrades. I still dont have a set plan but I have some new gear, see page 4

-)also more LED madness, I have bought a prototyping breadboard and some power supplies, and some good ideas for new things, including LED blue ovals, ghetto LED tubes and maybe underbody action if the ghetto tubes work out.
pics of the LED workstaion on page 5

I'm hoping to run out of things to do, and force myself to start doing some perfomance work... but, this would mean Id have to save up some significant money becuase theres only so much I can do. My auto skills stop at the drivetrain...

BEHOLD THE DOUBLE BUBBLE

Quadruple Double Bubble - Its 4x the bubble, doubled
One is no big secret, You might know about another
But you have to have the next one to experience the other

302 - CFI - AOD - loaded
used to have AC...
Made in Canada

Dont you just want to smack that @ss?

Dig the old school incandescent amber fog lamps - behind the grill, where they belong!

check out our sissy VA snow - would you belive they actually closed things for this? I'm not complaining, road salt is not our friend

New tires and suspention work (see p.2) have given this car a new look and improved ride - compare with the pics below and let me know what you think

chrome is a little pitted but still polishes up nice

OLDER PICS

notice the sunlight reflecting off the chrome onto the street

vinyl top, pinstripe, chrome trim... Im keeping this thing 4-ever

OK, I thought my factory wheels were nice, but these take the cake. I cant stop looking at them. Check out the LSC Club to see the beautiful car that graces these wheels - its the ultimite blend of lincoln and mustang. I believe Ill have to have one of these as well...

The wheels make the car, and to think I allmost gave them away...

They sat in the basement for a bit while I rode on the black steel off my old car (I was having trouble letting go). I think I just needed to get over how bad the turbines looked with the white walls that were on them.

badges off of the old car. the big one may go on the trunk. aahhh... reminisce.
