Here is my new ride. It is an 2002 WH Caprice with an LS1. I bought it on the 19th of September 08 completely stock and lowered it the next day. I have custom plates on it FATRDE which I bought the week I bought the car. The car rides on 20" Zenetti Heirs. I have installed my Pionner sound system from my other car into this which consists 3 amps, a four channel and two mono blocks. Two 12 Inch Subs and a Double Din In dash 6 Stack DVD Player with 7 inch Screen. I have also installed a twin 2 and a half inch exhaust. The concept photo above shows the new front bar which will be on there in the next few weeks.
I started working on the boot install by building a false floor to hide the amps and wiring under. I will carpet it in the next few days and put the lighting in at the same time. I wanted to retain all my boot space, so the subbox comes out if I want it too and I have all my space back. The only difference is that the floor is 75mm higher than the factory floor.
Carpeted up the the false floor and replaced the globe with a white LED. Pretty happy with the simple design.
Just a sneak peak of the newest addition that will be installed this week. A set of three chrome Autometer Gauge cups and Autometer trans temp, oil pressure, and water temp gauges.
