Won a single groove water pump pulley for a big block with AC, off ebay motors.  Here's the description from the auction.

This pulley will fit all Mopar Big Blocks from 61 to 78 including 361 383 400 413 426 (wedge) & 440. There are no numbers on this pulley. The water pump pulley is 5” in diameter & 1 1/8” deep. There is some slight rust pitting & a couple of small dings on the rear lip which neither will affect belt running. See closeup photo.

I think I'll be able to fix up the pulley real nice.

I cleaned the garage up.  I also stacked more stuff on the shelf and took more stuff back out of the Charger.  Not much other than that.  I have some stuff I'm gonna get rid of on Monday for $325.  I will get $78.89 from my personal funds.  Then, I'll be broke.

Sorry for all the time without an update.  My parents took us to Florida for a week so no car or computer access.  So anyways I got the water pump pulley painted and I got the front bumper cross-brace painted.  Sorry, but no pics now.  My brother keeps making videos for Youtube.

Today I got my permit so that means I'm legal to drive.  I had to have gotten it anyways since I have driver's ed at school.

(8/22/2009)

I put a big "916" on my engine to signify it's a 440 with air.

(8/23/2009)

I got my right fender off the car.  Unfortunately it took three Norton cutting discs and a wrecking bar.  So I'll have to rebuild the fender studs.  I also solved the camera mystery.  My Mom hid it cause it was left out.

Front suspension and axle have been removed.  It was a pain in the butt but it got done!

Here's the rear axle.  Unfortunately the Charger's been outside the whole time.  I will order Mopar Body Carts soon and she'll be in the garage again. Anyways here's the pics.

I went to the Goodguys Peak Antifreeze Car Show in Joliet and here's a Coronet I found amongst the Chevys, Pontiacs and Oldsmobiles.

My first anniversary!!!  Amazing What a year of work will do! From one of HLPAG's rolling turds to a decent workable shell ;)

(10/12/2009)

I have finished my rendering of what I want my Charger to look like.  Yes I did that myself, It looks even better in person but the resolution on the camera is low.

Tonight I won a 1969 Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner for 440 Magnums and 383 Magnums with Air.  This air cleaner needs some TLC and some wrinkle paint like Hemi valve covers.  It has some rust but it is minimal

I got Pete Posemato to come out to see the Charger today. He says $16,000-$21,000 at least.  He doesn't want me to media blast it and he'll do the stripping, metal work, painting and body fitment.  I'm kinda sceptical about this.

(10/17/2009)

I won a set of Doge Dish Hubcaps that need to get restored.  Some are rough but I prefer old original parts to new shiny repops.

I ordered a repop negative battery cable for my 440.  I got a repop cause it's gonna get painted to make it look like it's got overspray on it and Napa doesn't make the right style.  However they do make a corect positive cable so I'll order that from Napa.  Here's a pic of the negative.

The battery cable came today and went on today.  It was a fair quality repop but I don't think most can tell the differenct when sprayed with Hemi Orange paint.  It's on the engine right now and it looks great.  I'll order up the positive when the engine's gonna go in so I don't waste it sitting around, I do need the PN sticker to wrap around it. Unfortunately I will have to spray the sticker!!!

Still waiting for my hubcaps but I'm not too worried about them since they don't have wheels to go to yet.  I'll be selling my old crappy ass repop Magnum 500s (3) and a 14"x5"JJ wheel (steelie) for $25 a piece.

I've watched www.69hemi.com and I like what Jet has done with his Charger. too bad he had to sell it.  Anyways I've looked at his site for accurate factory details.  I saw that he had some help with his '69 from Nostalgic Auto Body so I went out to Island Lake and checked'em out.  I think I'll use him instead of Pete. Kevin is a friendly and knowledgable guy at the Body Shop. He started Hot Rod Haus and Nostalgic Auto Body.

I'll have to get the body media blasted then he'll come take a look at it.

In the movie, the cars they used were actual california highway patrol cars. The visual interior differance is, no carpet, all vynal seats (no cloth) but luckly mines the same color so u dont really notcie. They had a 2nd dome light between the sunvisors, you can only really see it in the begining of the movie while thier driving around, before they jump the bridge. Also they had a certified 140mh speedo, civilians like mine only go to 120mph. The car in the movie had rust around the wheel lips in the front fenders. But from what ive seen they wernt totally rusted out.nice charger, 5 stars!-zac
