This is my '69 R/T

She's got a 440, Torqueflite, and 3.23 Gears

I got my car on September 20, 2008 for my 15th birthday.  The car as I came to find out was actually a "Mopar Performance Race Team" race car.  This means that the car had its carpet stripped the ignition was modified, aftermaker tachometer, headers and various other mods.

A bit of history now, this car was built on Feburary 27, 1969 on the Hamtramck, MI assembly line.  The Charger  R/T left with the usual 440 Magnum a Torqueflite and 3.23 Gears.  My Charger was originally F3 Light Green with a Green Vinyl Interior and top.  The Mopar Performance team ripped the top off and painted it F6 Bright Green.

As of its current state it is my restoration project.  I am planning on keeping it Bright Green and do a white interior.

When I removed the carburetor from the intake it said "Chevy Sucks" of all things. LOL

See the Engine?  Well that Holley is gone, so is the Edelbrock 440 Torker Intake and that cheap aftermarket distributor.  The fuel lines were removed, radiator and hoses - this engine will be alot of work.

I restored the taillamp lenses today.  They are in primer though, why you ask, well I painted them up in primer so I could get them in some black paint but the primer looked good so I cleared them and wait for installation as is.

I discovered the previous owner loved tobacco and alcohol: Timothy C. of Hanover Park, IL.  It was obvious when you opened the car's ashtray.

The Interior - There isn't one.

The Exterior - The stripe was removed and the rear window mouldings were removed.
