fmc56's 1961 Ford Econoline This is my newest Econoline. It is a rust free 1961 3 window pickup. It still has the original 144 engine and 3 speed manual transmission. It was given to me by Dan Fox in Maryland.

The trip home with it included a breakdown in NYC for 4 hours.fmc56's 1961 Ford Econoline

Future plans are to install a 30,00 mile 200 with a 64 factory 4 speed column shift and 3.25 9" rear axle. The truck will be painted grabber orange with a simple black interior. I will also remove the cap and replace it with a vinyl tonneau cover.

I have made some progress on the pickup. I installed the 1969 200 with the 64 4 speed transmission. I installed a new clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot shaft bushing and motor mounts. Next the 9" rear axle will be installed.

I picked up a nice set of Kelsey-Hayes wheels for it with Firestone 205/65 X 15" tires.fmc56's 1961 Ford Econoline

Welcome. Love those things. Check mine out. It's on hold while I finish my '65 Mustang and get it sold. I have a rebuilt 200L6 to put in mine also. Good luck and enjoy....
