Here she is, my newest Honda Project!!

That's me and our other cars.

Back and Engine Stock Pics......

This is my new Kenwood Excelon unit, I love Kenwood. This model comes with Aux input and usb input. It's Bluetooth and XM radio ready. All the features I need in a simple style.

So here's the new dash kit and the original before I started installing the new head unit.

I decided to show my steps here for anyone else interested in doing the same, this is so simple even a pregnant chick can do it.....SEE, LOL

This was the only pain in the butt part, the screws and bolts are fairly easy to remove, but the bezel itself is very difficult, you almost feel like you have to break it to remove it, but no worries, you won't. PS I don't recommend using a butter knife like me. If you can find it (I couldn't) buy a panel removal tool!

Oh look, it's me again, head first into the dash where the glove box has been removed. I am disconnecting the 3 Air Conditioner knob/switch wires. (Purple, orange and yellow) you have to squeeze in the white plastic clips they are wrapped around to remove the wires.

Factory head unit and AC panel removed and replaced with the new unit and panel. Make sure to remove and reuse the clips on the panel and also the factory radio retainer brackets!

This is the final step, snap back in the panel, well, make sure you function check first! If you bought the aftermarket harness, the wires match up, so there's very little room for error, even for those of you who have never done this before. I didn't mention this before, but make sure to disconnect the negative battery cable before doing any electrical work. Also be sure to connect you RCA cables before putting the unit back to avoid wear and tear on the retainer clips, you can always run your RCA's and wait to connect your sub later. I am going to finish the sub install this weekend.

Here are my custom leather seats and my 12" Infinity sub with my favorite old school Kenwood Excelon amp. If you check out my other rides you'll notice I use this amp in all of my vehicles. It rocks! Thats it for now, more pics to come next week. Questions and comments welcome, but please keep the decent. Thanks and check out my other rides. Don't forget to sign my guest book and I'll do the same for you!
