Well after my 1.2 got written off I manged to get this little Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Sri
When I bought it it really needed a bit of TLC, the bumpers and arches were fading and the battery was dead.
After a week the battery was full of charge and the car was all tidy!
It stayed standard as I thought I could just use it as a run around and save up, this was until I went to Santa Pod and the scene pulled me in again!
The night I came back from Santa Pod I fitted my alloys from my old Corsa.
I then bought myself some new front speakers, just cheap jobbies but did the job, managed to get them fitted in 15 minutes!
As all my other cars have had a little roar to them this one couldn't be an exception so I got myself a Ashley 3" tip back box.
I then focused on my engine bay, well I say focused, I really mean I got a new piece of induction piping as it was split and an induction kit to add to the exhaust.

I then managed to get hold of a red front and rear bumper that I fitted myself, I did intend on getting the arches done also but it never materialised. You can also see I had taken my wheels off because they felt like they were slowing the car down!
Even though I loved the sound from the car I felt it could be a little louder ;o) so they car got booked into CC Customs for a stainless straight through centre section. The noise that came from the car was perfect it popped on tick over!
As I had upgraded the front speakers I thought it was time to get a cheap sub and amp, it was only a halfords jobbie but was cheap enough and was easy to fit!
To help airflow I also added some induction piping
After about 2 weeks I took the sub, amp and rear seats out ready for my trip to Santa Pod!
My best time was 17.52 @ 76.28 mph
As soon as we got bck I put the sub and amp back in and then got some Hertz front components put in for my birthday.
After this I just carried on keeping the car clean and tidy so I could save for a new car.
I sold it midway through 2008.
