This is My 'lil Chevette. I'm used to bigger cars but came across this and couldn't pass it up. It had a rod knocking when I bought it, and I knew I would have to rebuild it, I was going through project withdrawals anyway, and this kept me occupied for a couple of weeks.
The car was originally elderly owned and was pampered most of it's life. I have put all of the good stuff in the motor, and as far as it goes,...
It was original miles @ 119362 1.6 Liter 180c Transmission. with working A/C
All BRAND NEW Coil, Fuel Pump, Valve Seals, Piston Rings,Distributor Cap, AC Plugs, 8mm Wires, Rod and Main bearing on the bad Cyl, Crankshaft, Motor Mounts,Fel-Pro full gasket kit, Wix Fuel Filter, Fuel Hoses on tank,AC Oil Filter, Air Filter, Castrol SAE-30 Racing Oil, Castrol Transmission Fluid, Vacuum Lines, Peak Antifreeze, Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses, and new freeze plugs.
The Head and Block was machined and cleaned, Valves cleaned and reground, and the Cylinders Honed.
Motor was painted original GM Blue, the water pump and cooling lines low gloss black for heat dissapation, and the Intake was painted White for heat reflectivity.
Car Has Been SOLD!
