2008 IMPALA LS
R.I.P.
Some asshole blew a red light and ran head-on into me and my Impala on July 21st. I received minor bruises but that dumb ass suffered a broken arm. The cost to repair the front end was more than $9,000, so it was deemed a total loss. I am now searching for my next pimp ride.

My Impala is grey with black cloth interior. It is pretty much stock for now. I am in the market for a set of 20s and a Tryp T chrome grill. In the trunk is a Rockford Fosgate 800x2 amp powering two MTX 5500-12's with a Power Acoustik digital 1.2 farad capacitor. Kenwood Excelon 6x9's are in the rear deck, and in the front doors are a Pioneer 2ways. In the dash is a Pioneer CD w/USB port.

9/28/08 Update. Kenwood Excelon 6x9's installed. 4 gauge power wire ran from under hood, down passenger side, into trunk. Remote wire, RCA cable, and Punch Bass knob wire ran down drivers side into trunk. Punch Bass knob mounted under dash.

10/12/08 Update. OK......This weekend I went to the fabric store and picked out a couple materials for my speaker box and amp rack. The sub box was covered in dark charcoal suede, with a goldish brown animal print on the sides. The amp rack was made from MDF and was custom fit to the curves of the trunk! It was then covered in the gold print! So now im banging, beatin down the block!
The Rockford Fosgate 800x2 and Power Acoustik 2.0 (1.2) farad capacitor. The amp rack is secured at the very back of the trunk against the framework
All lit up and working great!!!!
MTX 5500s loving their new home.
The dark suede box is my favorite part!!! .
11/02/08 UPDATE! I decided to start a little something in the interior. The visors have been recovered in the same suede that my speaker box was done in. The headliner is next, and will be recovered in suede, as soon i can find the "perfect material".

6/12/09 UPDATE: Finally got the new Pioneer CD player that i wanted with the USB port, and had to buy the stupid install kit that kept factory chimes and R.A.P. ( it cost way too much !!!). The front door speakers were replaced with a set of Pioneer 2-ways. I also removed the flex fuel badge, replacing it with the "flying C" logo from my alma mater, Central Michigan University.
