This is my 2001 ///M5. I have had it since August, 2008 and I am in complete love. I have been lusting after these since they came out, and finally I own one! It is Titanium Silver with black/red interior and aluminum trim.

The car came with an Eisenmann sport exhaust, rouge lightweight flywheel & heavy duty clutch, rouge short shift kit, and Dinan performance software, eliminating the 155 mph speed limiter. It also has upgraded MkIV DVD based navigation system.

Eisenmann Sport exhaust

SuperSprint X-pipe (eliminates factory resonator)

Opened up factory brake ducts

Headers

Rouge V12 stage 2 clutch

JB Racing lightweight flywheel

Rouge short shift kit

Dinan performance software (removes factory 155 mph speed limiter)

Ahh yes thats me! Yeah i dont think there are very many E39 M5's on Volks at all. Yeah i think i am going to pass on the headers initially and just jump the gun on the ESS kit. Better bang for the buck and then just do headers late on! Honestly, the main reason why id do the intake is to clean up the engine bay and i miss the sound of an intake when you step on it. The S62 has a nice sound, but i find when you plant your foot you dont really hear too much, that or everything happens to fast to realize! How was the install? Dont really want to spend 1500+ on the Dinan for no gains, purely cosmetic basically, rather spend that on headers.

Love it man! Everytime i look at an 01 + It makes me want the MY01 + lights so much more. Did you notice any difference with the cosmo intake? Seems to be pretty much an exact replica of the 2,000$ Dinan minus the carbon fibre.
