When I first bought the
car.
So a few months later, I add decals to it.
In what seemed like perfect timing, some idiot slammed their brakes in front of me and I smashed the front end. Right after I fixed it, the new projector headlights that I had ordered a week prior to my accident came in. Before putting them on, I fixed the front end myself and repaint the gray on it.
And gave it nice bath at the carwash.
While awaiting a new timing belt (and the money to buy the proper gun/compressor), I decide to go all out and paint the underside of the engine yellow to go with the blue/yellow theme. The one on the left is before I cleaned the spark plug wires and small yellow hoses; the one on the right is a cleaned version.
I took off the hood after finishing underneath it to get proper lighting on it (for the camera). I plan on replacing the battery with a yellow top Optima and yellow ram air intake to replace the old.
The interior was already themed yellow, but every year I have to repaint the plastic, because paint don't bond too well with plastic, contrary of what Krylon Fusion tells you. And no, I don't want to take time to sand plastic.
There it is from my driver's seat.
I just replaced the plug wires and radiator hoses and yellow top DuraLast battery. Plug wires from Option Racing and blue radiator hoses from Gates Racing. I forgot to put the fuse box cover and header cover back on when I took this cause I just finished putting the radiator hoses on.
