Page 3          Mach 13 in January 2009

This month January 09 I have been wiring up the starting and charging circuits and sensors for the digital dash.  Marty was a big help decyphering the computer intrface instructions and the dakota digital instructions combined with both car's wiring diagrams (2004 Mach and 1969 Mach).  Some wires from the old 1969 engine bay harness are repurposed making the installation easier than it could have been.

For the coolant sensor shown below in the crossover tube I had to put in a tee so the engine computer could see the coolant temperature as well as the Dakota Digital dash.

There you go all plumbed in there.  Next up the oil pressure sensor.  There are two taps for that at the filter plate but I only need one because the engine computer does not seem to use oil pressure.  Three more short pages.

Busy with the downstairs floor - stripping off a layer of pressed wood that was hiding under carpet so I can nail down good old 3/4 inch hardwood. Uses up all my free time. %$#@*&)

hey buddy i haven't see any new post from you in a while, i was just checking in to see how the car was coming along. I also have a question, my steering doesn't work and i think its from the steering box, but its probably a lot more than that. could i put an entire steering set up from a fox body mustang or style and year into my car. I just cant afford to get it new like yours. If you have any suggestions, im definitely all ears. Thanks,
