So this car was originally from California so it's come a long way but it was worth it, it's more or less rust free which is pretty rare around here. The previous owner brought it with him from Cali to Colorado which is where I found it.

The shipping company backed out at that last minute so I sucked it up and I drove it all the way back from Colorado to Winnipeg non-stop (other than for gas), 23 hours in total. I got lucky it made it with absolutly no problems. It was surprisingly easy to get it across the border, customs didn't even come out to look at it.

Update 04/27 - Added some more progress pics to the Coilover install (Page 2)
Update 05/05 - Starting adding some info about installing the Tiburon Seats in my 510.

Pictures from my first autocross, this is what I wanted the car for from the beginning and it didn't disapoint at all, I had so much fun and the car handled fantastically.

Sr20det stuffed under the hood, in the future I'd like to clean up the engine bay but it all takes time.

I just put in new seats, they are leather seats out of a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon. They have a lot of latteral support and seem very comfortable to sit in. With a little bit of trimming I was able to make the rear seat work as well. It's not a perfect fit but it still turned out really well. There is more info on page 6.

A few pics from last summer meeting with some other Datsun guys in the city. Two amazing KA 510's that belong to a couple guys I litteraly stumbled upon the first night I had my car out. Hopefully one day my car will look as nice as them up close.

It's funny, other than the white one, I had never seen any these before I got my 510, it turned out it wasn't nearly as rare as I thought it would be. Fortunatly this was a good thing because all of these guys are awesome.

Here is a video of the P.O. beating on the car. The first minute or so is pretty boring so fast forward to about 1:10 if you are in a hurry. Clearly the car is a little loud for the mic but in general at that speed the wind noise is the loudest part. I've put the dash back together since as well as fixed an exhaust leak.
