Kia_Guy86's 2001 Kia Sephia

When my baby still had rims... Damn pothole! This was taken two years ago when the project began.

I spend most of my summers at stereo competitions. It's currently under construction for next year. This is what I've got system wise.

-Pioneer DEH-7700 head unit.

-Cheapie Pioneer 6x8"s in the rear and 6 1/2"s up front.

-4AWG straight power and ground cables... chassis grounds are for the weak!

-Optima red top under the hood.

-Spare 800CA battery in the back.

-Premier PRS-D2000SPL 4k amplifier

-Power Acoustic 25 Farad cap.

-300A fuse holder

Work in progress... Removed rear seat for 5.6 cubic foot SPL box. Second PRS-D2000SPL amp. Four yellow top Optima marine batteries. GM 300A alternator conversion. Suspension reinforcement for the added weight. New 000AWG wiring. DEH-P980BT head unit. PRS series components. Too much work before May...

Other mods include my soon to be redone interior painting/accenting. Blue underbody neons. Accent lighting on interior. Some underhood accents. 2 1/2 inch cat-back exhaust. Short ram intake. Vinyl work.

I had a genious moment at Dropfest this year and blew a sub... At least it made a nice hood prop=)

Later on this year, spark plug stripped and shot out, so I took the opportunity to do a little motor work... I'll post the update pics when I get the project finished.

I'm shocked at the condition of this motor with 145k on it. Barely any carbon build up and pistons and walls are excellent.

I removed the front bumper and fenders to finish the removal of the air conditioning and start on some overdue body work.

The drivers cv axle is junk as I found out, so she may sit all winter too and I'll get all the toys I want for her for spring...

Thanks for looking.
