This is my first ride (love), my 1965 Chevy G10 Van. It has a 250 inline six/ 2 speed Powerglide out of a '73 Nova. I plan on modifing the 250 for the mean time (twin intake, split exhaust manifolds, etc) but I'd like to put a 292 (yes, a BIGGER straight six) in it down the road.

There is some rot here and there. It will need new rockers and a lot of body work, but I like a challenge.

The inside was pretty nice when I bought her. Its fully carpeted (walls too) and pretty clean.

This guy had the smart idea of putting aftermarket cruise (turn signal arm) on this thing; I haven't yanked it yet but it is coming off. I'm going to add a new pack of gauges too (oil, water, volts).

This is probably the only thing that really angers me. If the guy would have cut a little higher I might have been able to patch this a little easier. The doner van I found does have an uncut dash, but they're welded in. I was thinking of just trimming out the section I needed to properly patch this hole. Thats probably what I'll end up doing.

The seats aren't half bad for now, but in the future I was thinking of putting in camaro buckets.

So here it is, the old six shooter. I just rebuilt the carburator and replaced a bunch of rubber lines. It looks bad but it purs. It had been rebuilt about 25,000 to 30,000 miles ago so it should be good for now.

I just had the starter rebuilt too.

Yes, its automatic. This was half the reason I bought it at the time because I couldn't drive standard. You can see how the guy drilled out pilot holes for the gears. I have to hand it to the guy, I thought this was a pretty clever idea and it works fine. I recently found a parts van locally that I'll be pulling the clutch linkage, steering column, etc. out of to convert it back to three on the tree.
