Cheap Stubby Antenna

1st Mod and probably the cheapest ever.  .94cents for a 4pk of #10 Black Screw Protectors from Lowes to put on the antenna screw.  Since I'm gonna be using XM the majority of the time I don't see myself going back to regular radio.

Air Bag Warning Light badge

2nd Mod not too expensive either. Purchased this for $10 from a supporting member of the Solsticeforums.com, ClearBraInstall. He has three designs to choose from and I got two but only put one on so I figure I can change it to the other if I want to.

Pontiac "In Memoriam" decal

After GM announced Pontiac's demise on April 27th, I got with my local decal shop and had them make up a simple decal to resemble the black arm band that is sometimes worn to memorialize a death.

Rest in Peace Pontiac 1926-2010

Painted Rotors

Done with about $20 worth of supplies on a Sunday afternoon.  Complete job took about 6hrs.  Complete "how to" can be found on solsticeforum.com in the "exterior modification" forum.

Painted Brake Calipers

Purchased the Duplicolor Caliper paint kit in Gloss Black to clean up the rest of the look of the wheel components.  Also added an ASAPgraphics caliper decal in Red that simply says, "SOLSTICE"  First two pics show a comparison between the stock caliper finish and the painted finish.

Trunk Mod - 2.5 inch spring

Adding this spring to your trunk hinge will allow it to open freely when the trunk release is activated. The spring can be purchased at Lowe's in the bolts and hardware section.
