2009 Pontiac Solstice

Solstice is the ultimate expression of top-down, all-out, wind-in-the-hair driving.  Every detail is focused on performance.  Every line is an outpouring of roadster essence.  With its 18-inch aluminum wheels and wide, athletic stance, Solstice is designed to run, stop and turn as effortlessly as it turns heads.  In other words, the expectations raised by Solstice's provocative exterior are fully realized by what's under the skin.

When I first caught sight of the 2002 concept Solstice I was reminded of how once again Pontiac was able to capture my interest with a vehicle.

After many years of production starting with the 2006 model year, I finally got the chance to test drive one at a car show and I knew I had to get one.  So I commenced my search for one only coming to the conclusion that I was going to have to order a new one.

I caught the tail end of 2008 production so I decided to wait for 2009's to begin the ordering process.

I placed my order with Brian Harris of Slidell, LA on 6/28/08.

The order was put into the system on 6/30/08

The car was built on 7/23/08

The car was delivered on 9/12/08 and picked up on 9/13/08.
