OK, so this is my 2002 v6 mustang. I got her back in late October of 2007; she had about 55,000 miles on her. So far I've put in an underdrive pulley from ASP, a custom dual exhaust with 2.5" flowmaster 20 race series mufflers. I put on a diablo sport tuner which made the biggest noticeable improvement over all. A MAC cold air intake, attached to an ACCUFAB 70mm throttle body! With all of these products I should be making around 240-245HP, but because those are the ratings they give on a stock car, and don’t account for other mods... I'm probably making much less like 230. I learned the hard way that even though bolt ons are fun and easy, not too many of them are worth wild for the price they are sold for and the power they give... for example a new tuner cost about $350, Underdrive pulley $250+ new belt $25, cold-air intake $200, throttle body $300, and a custom dual exhaust can range from $400-800... Let’s just say it cost me $650. Well for all that money that I could have saved up which is $1,775 (I think) you could have taken your upper and lower intake, and heads off...  Tooken it to a machine shop, have them port and polish everything with a 3 angle valve job, installed a mild mannered cam... and would have come out in the end with about 80 horses! 90 or more with a good tune! Which would put any sixer over a stock GT? This is why I have decided that that’s the next project I will do! Unfortunately it took me all these experiences to realize that unless you have the money to spend, just for kicks, its better to save up and do it right! Anyway that’s my lecture for all you sixers out there, take it from my "learning" experience and just save up!!!! well on my 2nd page are the bolt ons.... they look shiny, and I'm happy with them... but only because I'm hoping that after I'm done with the heads, cam, and intake.... it will push me over the 300HP at the fly mark, which will be where the 2005-09 GT's are at! With a little luck and proper tuning, I should be able to make 20Horses, 30 if I add some headers... hopefully that will satisfy my need for speed and power bug...... I hope cause this shit is starting to get WAY too expensive! LOL well rate my page and tell me what y'all think!
