This is my first and only car to date, a 2001 Nissan Micra Vibe, built in Sunderland, Britain.

It's only a 995cc engine (or 1 litre if you are generous), but the 16-valve's make it nippy.

The K11's, ie, the 2nd major shape change, were built between 1993 and 2002, although there was a face lift in 1999, and this car falls into the face lift, which added changed grille design with chrome inserts.

This 2001 car however, sports the lower bumper section also, which was only added for 2001 and 2002 cars.

I bought the car for £1590, in September 2008. It had 26,000 miles on the clock at the time and only one owner from new.

Lot's of people give the Micra bad stick for it's 'mumsy' image, but when you are doing 50 odd mpg, you don't really care.

I actually think the 2001 and 2002 Micra looks more than good, the earlier K11's are however in my book still boring looking.

The car has no options on it at all, there isn't even the optional tachometer. I feel this adds to the charm, having being used to my dad's Merc's and Audi's.

I plan on lowering the car 30mm, and also fitting the K12 (bubble Micra) SR 160 16" alloys, which can be seen below. Not sure if those alloys fit or not, I will need to visit Nissan at some point.
