This is my 1990 Ford Mustang GT that I picked up for $500. It runs but is in need of some restoration. My plans are to redo the interior, exterior, and then focus on the engine. As it sits now it has a 302 small block windsor, tremec t5 trans with steeda tri-ax short shifter, bbk cold air intake, bbk h-pipe, msd ignition, and that appears to be it. Right now I have gutted the interior and am working on getting that finished. When the body work is complete I plan on painting the exterior to match the Shelby GT500 from gone in 60 seconds. I hope to have the body done before winter, hopefully time and money are on my side.
Time to take a closer look at the exterior.
The Front bumper appears to be the only ground effect in good condition.
One of the previous owns must have bought an LX exhaust.
This is the ugliy side of the car, she's gonna need some body work.
On a positive note I painted the Taillights to match.
Fortunately the interior wasn't too bad. I gutted it and used a spray on bedliner, then re-installed the seats, dash, center consol.
A shot of the front interior.
And one of the Rear.
So some progress was made, there is still much more to be done.
