DIY: COBB AP V2 Mount with On/Off Switch I got the idea from a fellow member on http://www.clubwrx.net . I figured that I had this $700 dollar AP lying around, only getting used when need be, basically just wasting away. So I decided I would make a mount for it. But here's the catch. As most of the WRX owners know, when the AP is connected to the OBDII port, it WILL NOT shut off until you physically unplug it from the OBDII port or the AP, even with the car completely turned off. To loop-hole this problem, I moddified the USB cable that the AP uses to run through a SPST swtich that I picked up from Radio Shack. I'm not going to go into detail right now on how I did it, but I'll probably make a How-To if demand is high enough >D On to the pictures. Here is the switch I bought from Radio Shack. When flipped in the "On" position, an LED will make the entire switch glow green (to match the interior).
