First day I got it, yellow hood and piece of tire to keep it from fying off, also an old tired Engine, broken driver side window. I traded it for my 1990 N/A 2+2 project. see below.

Hi rev 11 to 1 N/A with TT Auto Transmission and Trans Brake. The Car was painted 4 times shitty at MAACO with 4 different colors before I started the project. So I gave up on the body and used it daily driver as a sleeper.

The Hard Top and great interior made me trade the old 2+2 project for this 1992.

Sued interior was better than the Tweed. Installed some windows fron Z1 motorsports because the old ones were gone then tinted.

Replace the original stock tailights with Option Racing Euro style taillights. See the difference. But the JDM original is still better, but for $200 is half the price. Also replaced that reddish third brake light with a new one.

Plug the rear transmission some rags and plastic bag to prevent oil from leaking when pulling in or out of the car due to it's incline position.

lmo300zx's 1992 Nissan 300ZX

Replaced the old steering rack bushing with NEW Energy Suspension Polyurethane for relialbility.

The battery tray is the worst part on any car so I did some corrosion treament from 18 years of rust and dirt and painted to try to match original color.

The original NA engine was good but it has over 211,000 miles. Mostly highway, but that's what they all say. I did not even try to start the car with the original engine, I just pulled out the decide to put A TT and sold it for $200.

Twin Turbo Engine from a donor car. But before I put in I took everying apart and clean, clean and clean, and replace timing belts and water pump all the 120k stuff, bearings and rebuild the whole bottom end.  Tighen and RTV everything to prevent leaks later on. This build was going to be a Budget build nothing too crazy but reliable as a daily driver.  Rebuild it myself. Shooting for 15psi 400HP for stock turbos and mild mods. Pretty much a new engine.

Well I just sold the car a couple months ago to for $8000. He was about 21 years old and love it. It is fast for being lightweight for a Z. He does a burnt out and drift to the sidewalk and crashed the car 5 minutes after he got it to a bus stop waiting bench. Nothing happen to the car only a small tear in the front bumper, good thing it has the bumper support. Then after that he drove away and lost alot oil because he had pop the oil dipstick out of place and oil has squirted out and got everywhere in the engine bay, but kept driving until the car started to run rough and die. He said he was boosting alot and loving it. So he calls me and being the nice guys that I am I drove 20 miles out to bring him 4 quarts of Royal Purple oil at 2AM. So I think everything was fine afterwards with more oil, but again 20mins later I get call that the car is now knocking, well thats what happens when you drive the car without oil. So I offered to hold the car for him until he can tow it back, but counter offered me that he would pay 2500 for a another engine and labor to put it in. I Agreed. So I ordered another engine, rebuilt the turbos after 3 weeks. He gives 1500 as a deposit and accepted it and he will pay the rest on the next payday. I trusted him because he was in the NAVY as I was and would be courtmartial for screwing with me. He drove away happy that he got his car back. Advice him on easy driving until he knows the car. Then 1 month later his buddy calls me that he has abandon the car at a highway and it was towed away, I was pissed of course for all the work. Appenrantly the he was low on clutch fluid and did not want to get any. Then it was towed away and auction of for $2100. I posted a add on craigslist if anybody has seen this car, after a week I get a reply and offered to buy the car back from him but wants $5000 and it's missing all the goodies. The car is still posted on Craiglist to this date. Sad story.. By the way the guy I sold it to was in the Brig or military jail for buying alcohol to minors...Sad.

Same here. Seems like everything and anything is keeping money away from this project. Its a slow uphill climb, but it will be worth it in the end. =-=-=-=-=--==-=-=-=-=--==-=-=-=-=--==-=-=-=-=--==-=-=-=-=--= RE: Great Z, wish I had money to finish mine.

i don't know much royal purple, but i go to school for mechanics and my teacher got me into AMSOIL, and i know someone with a diesel that has a bypass filter, and he's had 133k miles on one oil change. he get's oil analysis every 6 months and it always comes out good...anyways, nice z, i'm impressed. i want to do the swap on my car too, but for the money it takes i might try putting the rb26 in. anyways, looks really nice good job
