Hey everyone welcome to my second Cardomain.com site. My new 09 Vibe replaces my nice but worn out 99 Grand Am www.cardomain.com/ride/761827 . I have always loved Pontiacs and Toyotas so i figured why not get the best of both worlds... a Toyota built Pontiac. The versitality of the Vibe is so great and fits the bill perfect for what my girlfried and i wanted and needed in a car. This is only a base FWD model with the 1.8L DOHC VVT-I Toyota engine hooked up to a 4 speed automatic transmission. Sure the 2.4L 4cly in the GT or the AWD models would have been peppier but with the price of gas soaring through the roof the most fuel effecient engine was what really made the final decision. I can't wait for the aftermarket manufactures to start producing products for the new Vibes and the Matrix. New alloy rims will be waiting until the spring, no point in buying nething now with winter coming very shortly, and besides hopefully there will be alot more to choose from come April or May.
These are the only pics I have been able to snap since I picked up the car on Sept 13/09. I've been so busy with work that i'll i have been able to get so far are a few nitetime pics, which do the Metallic Red no justice. There will surely be more photos in the near future and hopefully the car will have some sort of mods by then.
