FRI'ed 426 Stroked Superbee
I decided to go with a 426 cu in forged/stroker motor in my Superbee! I had it built by Franks Racing Inc. in Houston, Tx; the guys there are first class. Steve, Lee, Alex, and Mike really make sure that the job gets done. I am like a kid in a candy shop when driving this car. It is totally drivable as a daily driver and then when you want to get on it the car will respond like no other! I can't wait to add the next mod on my list which is a Procharger F1-A supercharger; hence the reason for the lower compression motor. Here is a mods list and when I get a chance to take it to the track I will post times.
On the dyno the car made 490 rwhp and 500 rwtq NA.
Best so far is 11.7 @ 117 w/ 1.6 60ft.
The car is currently at FRI in Houston having the Procharger installed as well as a custom Front Mount Intercooler System and a custom return fuel system! We are shooting for somewhere around 14psi which should result in close to 800rwhp!! I will post pics and dyno charts as soon as I get the car back which should be end June/ early July!
