We picked up this 1992 Eagle Talon from some crackheads who were using this as a parts car. They were under the impression that the trans didn't work and that the motor had a blown headgasket. Turns out that one of the CV shafts popped out of the trans and the engine had a bad igniter to the 2-3 coilpack.
So far we replaced the hatch shocks (which was great when one snapped while i was installing it), the igniter for the 2-3 coilpack, fixed numerous electrical issues, rerouted and replaced the vacuum lines, replaced various missing interior pieces, replaced various missing engine sensors, replaced the tail lights, and we picked up a new hatch to replace the old dented one.
We picked up a better hood to replace the old one... It's not the greatest, but it's a hell of a lot better than the old rusted out one. The interior is just about finished. We picked up a TSi leather steering wheel to replace the foam injected one. I just replaced the red side mirrors with black ones. I'm trying to finish painting the spoiler as well... just can't find the time to get it done.
Well here's what remains of the Talon that my car was used as a parts vehicle for. I picked it up fairly cheap... guess I can pilfer the parts back for mine!
Finally replaced the front right fender on the car and had the exhaust fixed. Just need to find one more exterior trim piece and I'll be happy.
