Hey Charles... I'm jealous...you have 2 trucks! As far as the Pace Edwards covers leaking, I can tell you this: All of them are designed to channel water from rain, car washes, whatever, down channels to the cover box where the cover rolls up into. From there the water exits 2 drain hoses which need to be somehow routed through the truck bed so that the water can drain to the outside. The problem is that I could find no way to do this without drilling 2 holes in the bed for the drain hoses to pass through. I did not want to drill the holes so I simply let any water drain right back into the bed. I never have anything in there so it's no big deal. In any case as far as I can tell the entire cover is pretty water proof and the bed rail edges are as well. I highly recommend this cover. It looks as good today as it did when I installed it over 4 years ago! The powder coated finish is very durable and has not faded a bit. My truck sits outside in the harsh California sunshine during the summer, often in 100+ degree temps, so that's saying a lot.
