September 1989 model (so am I) drove it back to Sydney from Noosa after being highly recommended not to! I probably averaged 85/90kmh but hey its still a blast to drive. Driving it takes a little getting used to with no syncromesh and the engine in the rear gives it a slight rear wheel steering effect. There is absolutely no rust, but the paint job could've been done better if you see it close up, but al round it is very presentable.

I am constantly being stopped at petrol stations about it, which is fairly often since i've never been able to jam more than 12L in it. the only problem i've had is I cracked the plastic bushing near the base of the gear stick in the transmission tunnel, and at first I lost 1st 3rd and reverse, but after jamming a folded piece of cardboard in it, i'm only missing reverse now (though gear changes are pretty sloppy) so if anyone knows where i can get one you'll be my new best friend (i already tried Fiatorque).
