2008 Mazda 3 - Factory everything :( Just got Tint and wanting to do more. I'm thinking about some RX-8 18" Rims along with some Angel Eyes + Eye Lids and blue gauge needles. I've been out of the 'car scene' for nearly 12yrs now. I can't even remember what a good subwoofer/cabinet is anymore.
I have a bit of a wish-list and hoping someone can help me find some parts. I'm a LED nutjob, so I'll probably be replacing every light possible with LEDs. Any suggestions are welcome.
Looking for a OEM style spoiler.
I want to smoke (not black-out) all my lights (including side repeaters) I'm not sure I'm hip to the idea of the flim/tint I've seen on eBay. What are some options?
The mile-long antenna needs to go. I seen this shark-fin thing. Wondering if theres some other options?
09/25/08 - Just got my eye-lids in the mail. Along with my window vents. The vents look very low-profile and narrow, just how I wanted them. I'll be installing them this weekend. I'm waiting on the eye-lids since they need paint and if I'm going to get paint, I might as well wait until I get the badgeless grill (nose) so I can get them all painted at once. Also picked up a low-profile Parrot Handsfree Blue-Tooth car kit (CK3000 Evolution). I really didn't care for the LCD/Display models. I just want something simple to 'bluetoothize' my car.
The Eye-lids don't exactly fit, but I think with enough of this SUPER-crazy sticky 3M stuff I have, they'll be fine. I've used this same tape on my 89 GSX-R custom made LED turn-signals. It's been holding for the past 4yrs in Florida's hot summers and with all the times I've been caught in the rain. I swear by this stuff!
Yes, I'm aware I have a nail in my tire. First test of the TPMS
09/27/08 - New window vents
Very nice and low-profile. I goofed a little on the driver side, but once I realized what I had to do, the passenger side came out perfect. No more hurricane strength winds when I have all the windows down now.
Also, the customary blue LED replacements for map and dome lights has been installed.
10/06/08 - Built a approx 1 cu.ft. cabinet for my old junk 12" Sony Xplode. Gonna hook up the old Profile California 400watt amp to it. Hopefully my LOC shows up soon. I'll be able to have my system hooked up along with my Bluetooh hands-free stuff as well.
10/11/2008 - Got everything installed. 12" Sub with my old junky Profile 400w amp. Replaced all four door speakers with 6.5" Memphis Audio 2-way coaxials. Having a problem with my CK3000 Parrot Bluetooth module though. It's not flipping the relays correctly that turn on/off the sub and it's interfering with my FM singal reception. So, I'll have to get that fixed when I get the 4-Channel amp for the door speakers-- which is next. :D
